Tactical Paramedic course
PPA-International Medical offers a comprehensive four-month Tactical Paramedic course designed for paramedics, nurses, and experienced medics operating in both civilian and hostile environments. This advanced training program equips participants with the specialized skills required to deliver medical care in tactical and austere settings where conventional resources may be limited.
Program Structure
Phase 1: Self-Study
The course begins with a flexible self-study module, allowing participants to complete assignments at their own pace. These assignments must be submitted for evaluation and serve as a foundation for the practical training phase.
Phase 2: Practical Training
Upon successful completion of the self-study component, students will attend an intensive two-week (170-hour) hands-on training session at our facility in Aalborg, Denmark. This phase includes:
- Tactical Trauma Life Support (TTLS): Training in life-saving procedures under fire, including care delivery in active threat environments.
- Prolonged Field Care (PFC): A 12-hour immersive scenario requiring students to manage casualties in hostile conditions with limited equipment.
- Blood Transfusion Techniques: Instruction in administering blood products in field conditions.
- Extrication and Tactical Rescue: Skills for safely removing casualties from dangerous environments.
- Hyper-Realistic Simulations: Students will engage in high-fidelity scenarios replicating the stress and complexity of real-world tactical operations.
